Belgian Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Flour, all-purpose
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Yeast, Dry Active
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, MELTED
  • 2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 3 Eggs, SEPARATED

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flowr, sugar, salt and yeast. Blend Well. Melt Butter and mix w/ milk. Using a wisk, combine milk mixture w/ the dry ingredients. COVER and LET SIT ON KITCHEN COUNTER OVERNIGHT.

  2. Spray waffle iron to prevent sticking and preheat it. While preheating, separate eggs and wisk in yolks into the batter. Beat egg whites until fluffy (peaks). Gently fold whites into batter with rubber spatula. Pour 1/2 cup batter into each section of iron. Cook for 3 minutes.

  3. TO SERVE: Lightly dust with CONFECTIONERS Sugar. Top with fresh berries, Syrup.
