Gloria’s Turkey Salad

>>This recipe was written to take 3 days to make this salad. You could mix everything together, except the almonds and Cool Whip, and refrigerate for 12 hours.
>>This is a “sweet” pasta salad so please don’t use mayonaise.
>>This can be doubled or tripled for a large group.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. cooked turkey or chicken, cubed
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 C. small whole red grapes, halved
- 1/2 C. celery, chopped fine
- 1 C. orzo, cooked according to directions
- 1 C. Miracle Whip
- 1/2 C. toasted slivered almonds
- 4 oz. Cool Whip, or less to taste
Directions

Day 1: Mix and marinade overnight the turkey, onion and salt.

Day 2: Add and refrigerate overnight the mandarin oranges, red grapes, celery, orzo and Miracle Whip

Day 3: Add just before serving mix in toasted slivered almonds and Cool Whip.
