Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 Tbsp water
- 2 Tbsp corn syrup
- salt, pinch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 8-oz. chocolate chips
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
Directions

Bring first five ingredients to “hard crack” stage on candy thermometer. Then immediately remove from heat and add 1 tsp vanilla. Pour out onto buttered cookie sheet. Top with 8-oz. chocolate chips. Spread and top with nuts.
