Chili Beef Noodle Skillet

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. egg noodles
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 28-oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. In large skillet, cook beef, onion, celery, and garlic over medium heat. Drain. Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper; mix well. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.

  2. Drain noodles and stir into beef mixture. Heat through. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  3. (This freezes well.)
