Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 4 sweet potatoes, peeled, sliced in half lengthwise and cut into 4-inch long wedges
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Directions

  1. eheat oven to 350. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment or foil.

  2. Combine brown sugar, salt, cumin, and cayenne. Spread the sweet potatoes on the baking sheet. Drizzle the oil over the wedges and toss to coat.

  3. Add wedges to sugar mixture and toss to completely coat. Place potatoes back on cookie sheet spread in a single layer.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn over, raise heat to 400 and bake for 10-15 more minutes, until the potatoes are golden and tender.
