Just cooked it today and it’s fantastic!! Just browsing the net of its main plainly ingredients and how to cook it… well it turned out VERY GOOD unexpectedly!!

Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 3 pcs tomatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • anchovies (snacked sweet spicy dilis)
  • bacon (optional)
  • shrimp
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 macaroni
  • Parmesan cheese
  • tomato paste
  • ground pepper
  • sliced button mushroom
  • salt
  • sugar

Directions

  1. To cook the macaroni, boil water put macaroni, pinch of salt and oil. Cook macaroni for 10-12 minutes. Set aside.

  2. For the Sauce. Boil tomatoes till skin easily to peel. Let it cool.

  3. If you choose to include bacon, put olive oil in the pan and cook the bacon till slightly brown. Same step with the shrimp Set aside.

  4. Saute garlic, onion and bell pepper for 2 minutes with the same oil from the bacon and shrimp.

  5. Put the anchovies, cook it for another 2 minutes then stir in tomatoes.

  6. Add tomato paste, water and let it boil with constant stirring.

  7. Put salt, sugar and pepper to taste.

  8. Pour the sauce in the macaroni. Top with parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
