Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground Pork
- 1/2 lb. ground Beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 slices chopped cooked bacon
- 1 can Italian tomatoes (28 oz.)
- 1 can tomatoe paste (6 oz.)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sherry wine (optioinal)
- Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

Mix ground pork, ground beef and a few pieces of onion.

Heat bacon in hot oil (I don’t use the oil).

Add meat and remaining onion. stirring constantly until well browned.

Add tomatoes, bay leaf & basil.

Season to taste with salt & pepper.

Simmer for 1 hour (add water if sauce becomes too thick).

Add tomato paste & wine and simmer for another 15 minutes.

Remove bay leaf.

Mix with pasta and top with parmesan cheese
