Tagliatelle with Ham

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • Tagliatelle pasta
  • 1 leek, sliced
  • 1 packet of mushrooms chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 150ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 200g soft cheese
  • chopped wafer thin ham or cooked turkey, shredded

Directions

  1. Cook the pasta.

  2. In a separate pan put mushrooms, leek, garlic, mixed herbs and vegetable stock and simmer until reduced down. Once reduced, add soft cheese and ham/turkey. Heat through.

  3. Add milk if required to make sauce double cream thickness.

  4. Drain cooked pasta. Add to sauce and serve.

  7. Use other vegetables such as frozen mixed veg, peas or sweetcorn.

  8. Add leftover cooked chicken or turkey instead of ham.
