Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
- 4 T. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup milk
- 4 2.15-oz. Milky Way candy bars, sliced
- 2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese
- 2 T. sugar
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream
- Fresh or frozen strawberries for garnish, if desired
- Miniature Milky Way bars, halved, for garnish, if desired

Combine chocolate crumbs and margarine; press into bottom and 2" up sides of 8" springform pan. Chill.

Sprinkle gelatin over milk in a medium saucepan. Stir over low heat until gelatin is dissolved. Add Milky Way bars and continue to stir over low heat until mixture is smooth; cool slightly.

Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in Milky Way bar mixture and vanilla. Add whipping cream and beat at high speed for 4 minutes. Pour mixture into prepared crust. Chill until firm.

If desired, garnish with additional whipped cream, sliced Milky Way bars and fresh or frozen strawberries.

For a strawberry sauce: puree 2 cups strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar in blender.
