Ingredients

• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 small onions, finely chopped
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 2 x 400g cans chopped tomatoes
• 1 tbsp tomato purée
• 1 1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs

Directions

1. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft. Add the tomatoes, purée, herbs and 125ml water. Simmer for 25 minutes until thick. Season to taste.
