Ho Ho Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate or chocolate fudge cake mix
  • Cream Layer:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or marg.
  • 2/3 cup Crisco shortening
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 small can (5oz.) evaporated milk
  • Frosting Layer:
  • 1 can “ready to spread” chocolate frosting

Directions

  1. Prepare according to directions on box in a 9×13 or larger pan and let cool.

  2. Combine all cream layer ingredients and beat medium to high for ten 10 min. – spread on cooled cake.

  3. Microwave frsting for 30-40 sec. to soften and stir – then pour/spread over cream layer.
