Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups table cream added in 2 parts
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped brazil nuts or walnuts
Directions

Combine in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan sugar, 1 cup of the cream, corn syrup and salt. Cook slowly on medium hearto solt ball stage (236 degrees)

Add butter and remaining 1 cup of cream alternataely in four additions beginning with butter. (do not let mixture stip boiling). Stir constantly.

Continue to cook slowly to nard ball stage (252 degrees). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nutmeats. Pour into lightly buttered 8" square pan.

Cool completely, then turn out on board and cut with a sharp knife into 1" squares. Wrap with waxed paper sqares if desored. Makes about 1 3/4 pounds.
