Buttermilk Coffee Cake

This is a light, fluffy, buttery coffee cake. Perfect topped with Oatmeal Topping.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1 recipe Oatmeal Topping
Directions

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

Cut in butter. Stir in baking powder, baking soda, and spices.

Stir in the buttermilk and eggs gently. Spoon batter into a 9×13 greased pan. Sprinkle 2 recipes of Oatmeal Topping on top.

Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes until center is set.
