Skillet Chili Mac

Ingredients
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 1/2 C. chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 1 can kidney beans, un-drained
- 1 16 ounce tomato sauce
- 1 C. water
- 1 t. chili powder
- 1 t. salt
- 1 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

In a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic; add ground beef and brown.

Add macaroni, kidney beans, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, and salt. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until macaroni is done.

Add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese; cover and continue to heat until cheese is melted.
