Baked Ravioli

You can make this as big as you want just by repeating layers. I used more ingredients and made 3 layers instead of 2. Great recipe for making ahead and refrigerating 24 hours before cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (26-28 0z) tomato sauce (any variety)
  • 1 pkg (25-27 oz) frozen cheese filled ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 tblsps grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350. Spray 13 by 9 inch pan with cooking spray.

  2. Spread 3/4 cup sauce in baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over sauce; top with half of the remaining sauce and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers once, starting with ravioli. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  3. Cover with foil and bake 40 minutes. Remove foil; bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes longer or until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
