Chocolate puddings with fudge sauce

Ingredients

  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 100ml milk
  • 80ml light olive oil
  • 2 tbsp roasted chopped hazelnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150˚C/fan 130˚C/gas 2.

  2. Grease four individual pudding moulds (at least 180ml). Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the egg, golden syrup, milk and oil. Add to the dry mixture and sitr until smooth. Pour into moulds, put on a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes.

  3. Run a knife around each pudding and turn out. Pour over the sauce and decorate with nuts.
