Make Ahead Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 15 ounce can pizza sauce
  • 1 14 ounce jar marinara sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 15 ounce carton ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 12 no-cook lasagna noodles
  • 4 cups (16 ounces) shredded mozzarella

Directions

  1. Cook sausage and beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in pizza and marinara sauces.

  2. Combine eggs (lightly beaten), ricotta, parmesan, parsley, and pepper.

  3. Spread 1 cup meat sauce in 13×9 pan. Layer with 4 noodles and half of the cheese mixture

  4. Top with 1 cup meat sauce and 1 cup mozzarella.

  5. Repeat layers.

  6. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce, and mozzarella. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

  7. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, covered, at 375 for 45 minutes.

  8. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
