Orange Creme Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
  • 1/4 Orange Juice
  • 6 small oranges

Directions

  1. Combine milk, whipping cream, and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves. Cover and freeze 2 hours.

  2. Add orange rind and juice; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened.

  3. TO STORE: Cover tightly and freeze at least 24 hours or up to two weeks.

  4. TO SERVE: Cut off top one-fourth of each orange; discard tops. Carefully scoop out pulp. (Reserve pulp for other uses).

  5. Scoop orange creme into orange cups. Serve immediately
