Grannie’s Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup Lilly White Self Rising Corn Meal
  • 1/4 cup Lilly White Self Rising Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • Buttermilk - varies depending on consistancy
  • 2 T canola oil

Directions

  1. skillet in stove on 450.

  2. Mix meal, flour, egg.

  3. Add buttermilk until the mix is not thick but not runny.

  4. Remove skillet when hot and add oil.

  5. Add mix and cook unitl light brown on top.
