Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

  1. Mix flour and salt, cut in butter until pea size granules (like pie crust)

  2. Add milk/egg, mix well, turn onto floured surface, roll out about 1/8" thick, cut into strips, add to boiling broth, stirring a little after each is added.

  3. Boil 20-30 minutes or until done.
