Fake Finnan-Haddie

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 lb fresh haddock or scrod
  • 1/2 tsp mesquite flavoring (McCormick’s Grill Masters Mesquite)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup skim evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into 4 thin pats
  • Parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. at oven to 325.

  2. Coat a 13×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  3. Sprinkle fish on both sides with the mesquite seasoning, salt and pepper.

  4. Place into the prepared baking dish. Pour evaporated milk over fish; dot with butter.

  5. Bake at 325 for 20-23 minutes or until fish flakes easily.

  6. Garnish with parsley – serve immediately.
