Cherry scones

Ingredients
- 1 spray cooking spray
- 2 c flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/4 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1/4 c unsalted butter, melted
- 2/3 c dried cherries

eheat oven to 400. Coat a cookie sheet with cooking spray.

In a med bowl, combine four, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar, mix well and set aside. In another bowl, whisk together egg, buttermilk and melted butter. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined, fold in cherries.

Drop 12 equal 2 inch mounds of batter on prepared cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake until tops just start to turn golden, about 12-15 min.
