Abby’s famous pecan pie

Ingredients

  • 9 inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1 c light corn syrup
  • 1 c firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c butter, melted
  • 1/3 t salt
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 heaping cup pecan halves.

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients and pour into crust, putting pecans on top. Bake at 350 45-50 min til toothpick comes out clean. If crust is getting too brown, cover with foil.
