Gruyere Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 pds potatoes peeled and cubes
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/3 c whole milk
  • 1/4 c butter cubed
  • 1/4 c swiss or gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1/4 c chopped green onion
  • 1/4 c minced chives
  • 1 t minced garlic
  • 1/2 t garlic salt
  • 1/4 t pepper

Directions

  1. Place potatoes in a pan and cover with water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and cover and cook for 10-15 min or until tender. Mash potatoes with rest of ingredients. Serve
