Peggy’s Beef Brisket

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • Beef Brisket
  • Onion
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Whole Garlic
  • Bay Leaves

Directions

  1. Set oven at 325

  2. Cut slits in meat and insert garlic slices

  3. Add diced onion on top

  4. Add cup of water

  5. Add salt and pepper

  6. Add 2-3 bay leaves

  7. Cover and cook for about 3 hours or until fork tender

  8. (Note: Can add package of Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix if desired)
