Pasta Italiano

Quick but tasty!

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta (shells or spaghetti)
  • 1 1/2 lbs Italian Sausage, mild or hot
  • 1 lg green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 3 14.5 oz cans of diced tomatos, with basil, garlic, and oregano

Directions

  1. In large, lightly oiled skillet, over med-high heat, saute sausage, breaking it up

  2. When sausage is almost done, add onion and pepper and saute for 3 minutes

  3. Add mushrooms and cook 2 – 3 minutes

  4. Add tomatoes, and bring to a boil

  5. Reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes

  6. Toss mixture with pasta and serve
