Toffee sauce

Ingredients

  • 142ml carton double cream
  • 75g unsalted butter
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients in a pan over a low heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Increase the heat to high and cook for a further 2 minutes. Cool, then chill overnight.
