Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 cups fat free low sodium chicken broth
- 16 oz package frozen chopped broccoli
- 2/12 cups 2% milk
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 oz light processed cheese, cubed
Directions

Heat a large Dutch oven coated with cooking spray. Add onion and garlic and saute for 3 minutes.

Add broth and broccoli.

Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Combine milk and flour, stirring until well blended. Add flour mixture to broccoli. Cook for 5 minutes or until slightly thick, stirring constantly.

Stir in pepper.

Remove from heat and add cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
