Cheesy Bacon Potato Slices

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 6 T. butter or margarine
  • 4 potatoes, cut in 1/4" thick slices
  • 1/2 cup bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Place butter in a 10×15 jelly roll pan. Place in oven until butter melts. Add potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss until potatoes are thoroughly coated. Spread out into an even layer.

  3. Bake 20 minutes. Turn. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Continue cooking 15 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender, crusty and golden brown.
