Italian Pasta Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1lb. extra-lean ground beef
  • 3cups whole wheat penne pasta, cooked
  • 1jar (24 oz.) spaghetti sauce
  • 1/3cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
  • 1-1/2cups KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

  1. HEAT oven to 375°F.

  2. BROWN meat in large skillet; drain. Add pasta, sauce and half the Parmesan; mix well.

  3. SPOON into 13×9-inch baking dish; top with remaining cheeses.

  4. BAKE 20 min. or until heated through.

  5. VARIATION Substitute 2 cups BOCA Ground Crumbles for the ground beef. There’s no need to brown or thaw the crumbles in skillet. Simply combine with the pasta, sauce and Parmesan, spoon into baking dish and bake as directed.

  6. SUBSTITUTE Substitute 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen LOUIS RICH Pure Ground Turkey, thawed, or 1 lb. Italian sausage for the ground beef.

  7. SPECIAL EXTRA Brown meat with 1 tsp. Italian seasoning and 3 minced garlic cloves.
