clean eating muffin tin oatmeal

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. steel cut oats
  • 1-2 tbsp. addition of your choice (see below)Directions

Directions

  1. Step 1 – Combine the water and oats in each individual “muffin”.

  2. Step 2 – Stir in your additions

  3. Step 3 – Bake at 350 F. for about 45 minutes, or until you can visibly see that all the water has been soaked up by the oats.

  4. Step 4 – Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

  5. Possible toppings:

  6. 4 slices banana (is used frozen)
  7. 1 tbsp. cranberries
  8. 1 tbsp. grain sweetened chocolate chips
  9. 1 tsp. cheddar and 1 tbsp. pistachios
  10. Kim, the woman who gave me this idea, said that one of her favorites is to add shredded apple and cinnamon…apple pie oatmeal!
