Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 - 15oz. can pumpkin
  • 1 - 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 9 inch unbaked pie crust

Directions

  1. heat oven to 425 degrees. Whisk pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, spices and salt in medium bowl until smooth. Pour into crust. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp to 350 degrees and bake an additional 35 to 40 minutes until knife inserted 1 inch from crust comes out clean. Cool

  2. OPTION: Combine 1/2 cup packed brown suger and 1/2 cup flour in medium bow. Cut in 1/4 cup of cold butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. After pie has baked at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, sprinkle mixture evenly over top. Bake an additional 10 minutes
