Ingredients
- 1/4 c (1/2 stick) unsalted butter + more for baking
- 1/4 c black beans rinsed drained and pureed
- 3 oz semisweet chocolate chopped 1/2 c
- 2 oz unsweetened chocolate chopped 1/3 c
- 1 1/3 c sugar
- 2 lg eggs + 1 lrg egg white
- 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 c flour spooned and leveled
- 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp fine salt

eheat oven 350. Lightly butter 9" square baking pan and line with parchment paper. Leave a 2" overhang on all sides. In a large bowl combine butter, bean puree chocolate and microwave in 30 sec increments, stirring each time, until melted and smooth about 2 min. Whisk in sugar, eggs, egg white and vanilla until smooth.

In small bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Stir in chocolate mixture until just combined. Pour into pan smooth top. Bake until top is cracked and toothpick entered into center has moist crumbs attached about 25 min. Will set as it cools. Let cook on wire rack. lift and cut into squares.
