Ingredients

• 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 cup crisco shortening
• 1 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• 3 tblsp milk
• 1 tblso vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 3/4 tsp baking soda

Directions

1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees

2. In a large bowl combine peanut butter, shortning, brown sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat until blended.

3. In a seperate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to peanut butter mix and beat at low speed until blended

4. Drop spoonfulls onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 in apart

5. Using fork make criss cross marks on top of cookies

6. bake 7-8 min until set or just beggining to brown
