Ingredients
- 3 c milk
- 1 1/2 c steel cut oats
- 1/2 c packed dark brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- Topping
- 2 apples gala or granny cored and diced
- 2 tbsp packed dark brown sugar
- 3 tbsp sweetened dried cranberries or raisins
- 3 tbsp chopped walnuts
Directions

at slow cooker with non stick spray. Combin milk, 3 c water the oats, 1/4 c brown sugar and salt in slower cooker. cover cook overnight on low for 9.5-10 hours.

Uncover stir in remaining 1/4 c brown sugar. Set aside.

Coat skillet with nonstick spray, and place over med heat. Add apples cook 4 min stir occasionally. Add brown sugar 1 tbsp water and cranberries. cook 1 min. Remove from heat stir in nuts.

Stir oatmeal in slow cooker until smooth. Serve with topping.
