Sweet Biscuits

Good with strawberries and ice cream!

Ingredients
- 2 C flour
- 2 T sugar
- 3 t baking powder
- 1 t salt
- 3/4 C milk
- 1/3 C butter, melted
Directions

Heat oven to 450 degrees F.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter just until blended.

Sprinkle a surface lightly with flour. Turn the dough onto the surface. Gently smooth into a ball; knead 20-25 times. Roll or pat dough 1/2 – 3/4 " thick; cut into biscuits with a floured 2 1/2’ or 3" circle cutter. You can also use cookie cutters if you’d like to have a little fun. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake until golden brown, about 9-11 min depending on how thick and big you cut them.
