Gabe’s Shrimp Tacos

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • tacos-
  • corn tortillas (sm pack) heat oil in pan and fry for less that 30 sec each
  • side, should remain pliable and soft but cooked don't under cook. Dab oil off the tortillas after cooking. Can do more than one at a time.
  • 1 1/2 or 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb raw uncooked shrimp deveined and shell off ( we used half pound but
  • not enough)
  • use some already chopped onion from pico ingredients
  • cook shrimp, onion, garlic with a little oil, salt and pepper (use a
  • little more, tastes good)
  • pico de gallo-
  • 1 large whole chopped tomato (or two small ones)
  • 1/2 of a chopped small yellow onion
  • 1/2 or 3/4 jalapeno (big ones aren't hot)
  • a few springs of cilantro
  • squeeze a little lime juice in pico
  • a dash of salt (no pepper)
  • 1/2 clove garlic

Directions

  1. assemble tacos, shrimp and pico on top and squeeze lime on top of that.
