Slow Cooker Brisket and Onion

Ingredients

  • 1 large yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 2 carlic cloves smashed and peeled
  • 1 first cut of beef frisket 4lbs trimmed of excess fat
  • coarse s/p
  • 2c low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves

Directions

  1. In slow cooker combine onion and garlice. Season brisket with s/p and place fat side up in cooker. Add broth. cover and cook on high until brisket is fork tender about 6 hours. Remove thinkly slice against the grain. Serve with onion and come liquid sprinkle with parsley.
