Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon (about 8 slices) cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1/2 pound hamburger
- 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups minute rice
- 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

Fry bacon in 10” skillet until partially cooked. Drain grease.

Add hamburger and onion to bacon and cook in skillet until hamburger is light brown; drain.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Put in a 7 × 11” baking dish and bake in 350° oven about 25 minutes.
