Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 jar (30 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 8 ounces uncooked thin spaghetti, broken into pieces and precooked 6 minutes in boiling water.
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)
Directions

Cook and stir hamburger and onions in 10-inch skillet or Dutch oven until hamburger is light brown; drain.

Stir in spaghetti sauce, green pepper, water, mushrooms, salt, sugar, chili powder and precooked.

Transfer mixture to a greased 9” x 13” baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake covered at 350° for 30 minutes.
