Peach Bisque

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1 large can peaches, drained. Reserve juice
  • 1/2 c half and half
  • fresh nutmeg, 4 grates
  • 6 slices Pepperidge Farm regular bread
  • softened butter
  • cinnamon sugar

Directions

  1. Soup

  2. Put peaches in blender, puree.

  3. Add half & half and nutmeg

  4. Chill.

  5. If necessary, use reserved juices to thin

  6. At serving time, sprinkle with cinnamon toast croutons

  7. Croutons

  8. Toast 1 side of bread in broiler.

  9. Turn over, butter & sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

  10. Toast very carefully under broiler being careful not to burn.

  11. Cut into small pieces.

  12. Store in tightly covered container
