Ingredients
- 3/4 lb italian sausage
- 1/3 c tomato sauce
- 2 cans (10oz) refrigerated pizza crust
- 3 c fresh or frozen vegetables (broccoli florets, onion wedges & red pepper)
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese
Directions

In large skillet over medium-high heat, place sausages and 1/4 c water. Cover & simmer 15 minutes, turning until browned; remove & slice

In 1 tbsp of drippings, saute vegetables 3 minutes

Add sausage & tomato sauce

Preheat oven to 400’

Meanwhile divide each roll of pizza crust in half

On lightly floured surface, with floured rolling pin, roll each piece of dough into an 8" circle

Evenly divide sausage mixture among halves of rounds to within 1 1/2" of edges

Sprinkle cheese overtop

Fold dough over filling

Turn edges up & over & firmly seal

Place on baking sheet

Slit top of pizza pocket to allow steam to escape

Bake 15 minutes until heated through & golden brown
