Windows Crab Cakes

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c fresh white bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp worcestershire
  • 1/2 lb crab meat
  • 1 medium egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Mix bread crumbs & egg in medium bowl

  2. Add chopped parsley, mayonnaise, worcestershire & seasoning. Stir to combine

  3. Mix in crabmeat

  4. Season to taste with salt & pepper

  5. For crab mixture into 6 1/3" thick patties (can be prepared 6 hours ahead of time)

  6. Cover & refrigerate

  7. Melt butter in heavy skillet over medium heat

  8. Add patties & cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes / side

  9. Serve with lemon wedges
