Doug’s Brisket Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 2 clove's crushed garlic
  • 2 C chopped onions
  • 1 C of Ribbon Cane syrup
  • 1/4 C of red wine vinigar
  • 1 tsp of mustard
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • 2 T of lemon juice
  • 1 T of soy sauce
  • 1 C of honey
  • 1/2 C of bourbon whiskey
  • 1 can of coke
  • 2 T chilie powder

Directions

  1. Mix all together and rub brisket down with

  2. sauce. Cook brisket on pit until it is browned.

  3. Wrap in foil and rub with sauce several times

  4. while it is cooking.
