Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 8-oz. cans tomato sauce
- 1 6-oz. can tomato paste
- 2 t. basil
- 1 t. salt
- 1 8-oz. lasagna noodles
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 16-oz. container cottage cheese
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 t. parsley
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- 2 8-oz. pkgs. sliced mozzarella cheese
Directions

Cook ground beef until browned; drain off fat. Stir in next four ingredients. Cover; simmer 15 minutes, stirring often. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain; rinse noodles.

Beat eggs; add cottage cheese, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Layer in 9×13 pan as follows:

1/2 noodles

1/2 cottage cheese

1/2 mozzarella cheese

1/2 meat sauce

Repeat layers

Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes. If assembled and refrigerated, bake 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
