Broad bean, pea and pesto salad

Ingredients
- 1kg bag frozen broad beans
- 500g bag frozen peas
- 190g jar basil pesto
- good splash extra-virgin olive oil
- 150g Parmesan, grated

Blanch the beans in a large pan of boiling salted water for 4-5 minutes. Drain and refresh under running cold water. You can remove the skins if you like. Put into a clean bowl.

Blanch the peas in a large pan of boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and refresh under running cold water and add to the beans with the pesto, olive oil and most of the Parmesan. Mix well, season and serve sprinkled with the remaining Parmesan.
