Ingredients
- 1lb loaf Italian Bread, cut into 1 1/2" slices
- 1-2 Bananas, sliced
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2c Milk
- 1-2TBSP Butter
- 1-2TBSP Vegetable Oil
Directions

Cut wide deep slice into the top of each piece of bread. Stuff each pocket with 3-4 banana slices.

In a shallow dish or pie plate, whisk together eggs and milk

Dip each bread piece in egg mixture and turn to coat both sides.

Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each slice 4-5 minutes until both sides are golden brown. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
