Ham and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or italian bread, cut into cubes
  • 8 oz. fully cooked ham, cut into cubes
  • 1-1/2 C broccoli florets
  • 2 C mild shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 T dijon mustard
  • 2-1/2 C milk
  • 2 T butter or margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Layer half the bread, half the ham, all of the broccoli and half the cheese in a greased 9 × 13 pan. Repeat layering with remaining bread, ham and cheese, pressing lightly. In a large bowl, combine eggs and mustard. Stir in milk and butter; mix well. Pour evenly over cheese mixture. Let stand 15 minutes or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 – 50 minutes or until gold brown and set.
