Ingredients
- 1 Can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1/2 C sugar
- 2 T butter or margarine
- 2 T light corn syrup
- 1 pkg (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ice cream
Directions

In a medium, heavy-duty saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, butter and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla until thickened and smooth. Serve over ice cream. Store leftover sauce in refrigerator.
