JMueller BBQ’s Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3.5-4 lbs rack of pork ribs
  • 8oz light corn syrup
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 4oz vinegar
  • 5-6 large pieces of post oak wood
  • red pepper flakes
  • coarse ground black pepper
  • kosher salt

Directions

  1. Bring smoker to 320 degrees with post oak wood

  2. Mix 2 parts pepper and 1 part salt and rub well into ribs

  3. Smoke ribs for 2 1/2 hours, keeping temperature of smoker at 320 degrees

  4. Boil vinegar, light corn syrup and butter in a large pot and add red pepper flakes (to taste) to make the glaze.
